St. Ignace is a Small Town in Northern Michigan by Mackinaw Bridge

Although technically not on Lake Michigan, but instead on Lake Huron, St. Ignace is still part of the official Lake Michigan Circle Tour.

Located in the Straits of Mackinac, and known as the “Gateway” to Michigan’s Upper Peninsula, St. Ignace has more than 300 years of history. It became an official part of the United States after the Revolutionary War. With its constant inhabited status, it makes St. Ignace third in the United States to carry this postion. St. Ignace offers a wide variety of activities from boating to golf to shopping to history to Mackinac Bridge and Mackinac Island.
